Rules for the correct use of blades:
- Absolute lack of vibrations of the machine and the tool holder shaft.
- The flanges used to lock the blade must have a diameter equal to at least one third of that of the circular blade and their tolerance must not exceed 0.02 mm.
- The cut must not protrude from the material by more than 10-15 mm.
- The blade must be constantly washed with a special liquid or other solutions that eliminate the encrustation of sawdust or resins.
- The blades must be sharpened on extremely precise machines using diamond grinding wheels and must be carried out whenever the cutting edges have a rounding greater than 0 2 - 0 3 mm.
